Our Team

General Manager

Craig Edney

Craig Edney is the General Manager of the Honey and Barry Memorial Arena (HBMA). He’s been an employee of Nustadia Recreation Inc. (NRI) for over 15 years and has spent his tenure at a variety of facilities in the GTA including the HBMA, the Athletics & Wellness Centre at Branksome Hall, and the William P Wilder 40’ Arena & Sports Complex at Upper Canada College.

Craig has a wealth of experience managing and operating ice rinks, swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnasiums, grass and turf fields, dance and yoga studios, field bubbles, and other sports and wellness facilities. Craig has also been heavily involved in the development, preparation and delivery of Day Camp programs.

Manager of Finance & Adminstration

Tanner Jelly

Tanner Jelly is a sport and recreation professional with over eight years of experience in program delivery, facility operations, and customer service across municipal, collegiate, and private sectors. He currently manages all administration tasks at Honey Barry Memorial Arena through Nustadia Recreation.

Tanner will oversee all booking requests, invoicing, lead staff in day-to-day management of the facility, along with helping new groups book our state of the art facility!

With a background in Sport Management from Humber College, he has organized leagues across 30+ locations, supervised front-line teams, and built strong community partnerships. He is passionate about creating smooth, inclusive recreational experiences and he combines operational expertise with a hands-on, customer-focused approach.

Manager of Operations

Elyse Pearson

With more than 23 years in the recreation industry, Elyse has built a strong foundation in arena operations, equipment handling, and facility management. She was the first female Zamboni driver for the Toronto Maple Leafs, a milestone that reflects her technical skill, consistency, and high-performance standards while also breaking barriers in the industry.

Elyse is recognized for her strong work ethic, operational expertise, and ability to lead by example.
